¡Bienvenidos!

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!

In this class, we will learn the Spanish language and about different countries where Spanish is spoken.

Please take note that Quizlet is a very important website in this class. On Quizlet, you will be able to study vocabulary that will be on quizzes and tests throughout the school year. The link to Mrs. Laricchia's Quizlet page is quizlet.com/LaGuardiaAL. Please click the "Classes" tab and sign up for "Español 1/2, 2016-2017 School Year." If you do not have a Quizlet account, please be sure to make one. Do not sign up with Facebook. Creating your own username and password will ensure that you will be able to log in to Quizlet at school and record your high scores. Recording high scores = possible extra credit points towards an exam.

Another website that we will be using in this class is wordreference.com. Word Reference is an online dictionary that is very user-friendly. You may also find verb conjugations on Word Reference. If you want to practice verb conjugations, you may use conjuguemos.com. Do not use Google Translate for assignments! I WILL KNOW!

...
And of course, this website (that you are on right now) is important as well. This will be a means to communicate with you throughout the year. I will post major projects on this website, as well as what will be on exams and finals. Please be sure to sign up/follow this website. It is your responsibility to check this website daily for information and assignments.

Please know that you may reach out to Ms. Laricchia at any time. Her email is alaricchia@schools.nyc.gov.
